Youth helping Youth

At the heart of the MMPF is the belief that young people are capable of making a difference in society, first by helping out themselves, then helping out the community. We do this through our Youth Committee which is always looking to recruit young people around the Shire to help us out with our events and all your awesome ideas!
Anyone between the ages of 15 and 25 is welcome to join our committee and have a chance to:

  • Have a say in how young people are represented and share issues you think are important for young people,
  • Help to shape the community,
  • Build organisational, leadership and public speaking skills,
  • Participate in fundraising events

Anyone interested would also receive official volunteer hours logged for their resume, certificates for participation and gain invaluable teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

To show your support for your community feel free to contact Kyneisha via email at or call the office during office hours on (02) 9542 4029 if you want to join our Youth Committee or download the MMPF Membership Form.

Supporters & Sponsors

Enough is Enough is one of the most iconic services in the Sutherland Shire which helps those who are effected by anti-social behaviour and has recently relaunched the Michael Marslew Peace Foundation, dedicated to the memory of Michael Marslew who was tragically murdered in a failed armed robbery. We work with a lot of vulnerable and disengaged youth, and help them develop skills to help them succeed in life and turn their challenges into opportunities. Without any help from an early intervention, some young people may quickly go down the wrong path in life and find it hard to succeed the way they want to.

The MMPF’s vision is to help inspire, motivate and empower these young people, but we cannot do it alone. Any individual or organisation can donate items or prizes for our youth events to go towards engaging young people in the work we do. Any corporate sponsor who donates to us will receive a link to their website from our site.
