Enough is Enough

TAIWAN has hand-picked Sutherland Shire anti-violence organisation Enough is Enough as a model for its government welfare departments.

A team of eight Taiwanese dignitaries visited the shire support group, which has become renowned for its educational and cooperative justice programs in prisons and schools.

Mr Marslew said the Taiwanese had heard of his group's work and were interested to find out more. He said the group was particularly interested in the organisation's system of getting victims and offenders together.

"Taiwan still has the death penalty, so they were fascinated with why we weren't out getting revenge," Mr Marslew said.
